Abeer graduated at the top of her class in 2005, earning several academic prizes along the way. Her journey then took her to Ireland, where she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry at the prestigious Trinity College Dublin and achieved her Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFD RCSI).

She later gained a Certificate in Special Care Dentistry from the University of Aberdeen, strengthening her ability to care for patients with additional needs.

Abeer has built up a range of experience across hospital, community, and general practice settings. She is passionate about continually developing her skills, holding a Diploma in prosthodontics from the well-regarded Tipton Training, and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Plymouth.

When she’s not caring for patients, Abeer loves spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying the beauty of nature. She also practices mindfulness, meditation, and stillness—values that naturally carry through into the calm, reassuring atmosphere she creates for her patients.

Committed to clinical excellence, Seb has completed advanced postgraduate training, including a prestigious Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a certificate in periodontal (gum) surgery through Perioacademy. He is also a member of both the UK Association of Dental Implants and the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Glasgow.

Seb’s dedication to ongoing learning, both in the UK and abroad, has shaped his special interests in implant dentistry, advanced gum treatments, and laser dentistry. He is passionate about saving natural teeth with state-of-the-art techniques and restoring smiles with natural-looking, comfortable tooth replacements. His work is not only about restoring teeth, but also about restoring confidence.

In recent years, Seb has focused extensively on dental implants, using the latest digital technology to replace anything from a single missing tooth to a full arch of teeth with fixed, non-removable solutions. He also enjoys mentoring fellow dentists who are starting their implant journey—something he finds incredibly rewarding.

Throughout his career, Seb has worked predominantly in private practice and has been part of two award-winning teams recognised as Scotland’s Best Digital Dental Practice. His philosophy is to provide care that is comfortable, predictable, and tailored to each patient’s needs. He takes time to ensure patients understand their treatment options fully, often showing them exactly what to expect before their journey even begins.

Outside of dentistry, Seb grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Dundee for university. Music and football were big parts of his early life, with Seb playing in various bands and orchestras during his school and university years. These days, he enjoys golf and travelling, finding balance between his professional and personal passions.

Dr Seifo holds a Master’s degree and PhD in Paediatric Dentistry, and has over a decade of experience managing patients with a wide range of dental concerns. He previously served as a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry and has been involved in both clinical research and teaching in the UK and abroad.

While paediatric care remains a core focus, Dr Seifo also provides comprehensive dental treatment for patients of all ages, including adults. His approach combines modern, minimally invasive techniques with excellent communication and a deep understanding of patient needs—regardless of age.

I’ve been working as a dental nurse for the past two years and recently became fully qualified. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is getting to interact with patients and help them feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.

I’ve been working as a Dental Therapist since qualifying at Dundee University in 2024. My passion for helping both adults and children feel comfortable and confident in their dental care continues to grow!

I provide treatments such as fillings, scale and polishes, and gum disease management, which I’m especially passionate about. I always aim to tailor my approach to my patient’s individual needs and enjoy seeing the results we create together.

I work with children too and most of all, I enjoy easing them into the world of dentistry. Making them feel comfortable and in control of their treatment. It helps prevent dental anxiety and in the long run, creates a good relationship between children and their future visits to the dentist.

When I’m not at the practice, you’ll probably find me out on a walk, at a Pilates, baking something sweet, cooking for friends and family, or relaxing with a good film.
